The Master Genealogist 5
========================
Still no release date set. However the pre-release version is getting
very close to finished, with only a couple of reports and lists to be
completed.  

We will soon be offering the latest pre-release version (5.09) on a
CDR. Anyone who purchases this pre-release version will be sent the
final CD and Getting Started manual automatically and at no extra
charge once these items become available in Australia. 

It is expected the missing reports and lists will be available for
download from the Wholly Genes web site before the product is
available in Australia. This pre-release offering of the
almost-complete product is therefore now the quickest way to obtain
the full version once it is released. 

The cost of this pre-release version will be the same as the expected
price for the final version, namely $135 plus postage. 

If you are considering buying TMG 5, you should also consider the
separate book written by experienced users "Getting the Most out of
The Master Genealogist", or the two video tapes. Please see our web
site for more details about these items. 


Marriage Index. Victoria 1921-1942
==================================
We finally have some news regarding this title. Although a release
date has not been set, it is now highly probable this CD will be
available sometime during November. 


Tasmanian Pioneer Index 1803-1899
=================================
This one will miss its September release date, but should be available
by the middle of October. 


Queensland Federation Index 1890-1914
=====================================
Some more red-tape delays have occurred. While the CD itself is
looking good, I can't see the red-tape being sorted out in time for an
October release. The Queensland Registry is doing the best they can to
get this CD released as soon as possible, and is as unhappy about the
delay as we are. 


England and Wales Indexes
=========================
The final death index CDs in this new series are expected within the
next week. The next in this series will be the marriage indexes. The
current high number of CDs in preparation has delayed the release of
the marriage indexes, but at this stage we still expect the first of
them this year. 


Cheltenham Cemetery
===================
This new Flikker CD is expected in about a week. It contains
transcriptions of the headstones from the Cheltenham Cemetery in
Victoria, as well as photos of significant graves and a history of the
cemetery. More details, including the price, should be available on
our web site in a few days.
