Tasmanian Pioneer Index 1803-1899
=================================
This new Digger CD-ROM was released earlier this week. We have already
filled backorders so if you had pre-ordered it, you should receive it
in the next couple of days if it hasn't already arrived.

The data on this CD-ROM is based on that available over ten years ago
on an MS-DOS CD-ROM, but many corrections have been made since
then. In addition, this CD-ROM uses Digger!


Marriage Index. Victoria 1921-1942
==================================
We have received stocks of this CD, and will be shipping back orders
today (Friday 7 November). Those who have ordered and supplied payment
details should have it on Monday or Tuesday, depending on Australia
Post. Our web site will be updated later today so that those who want
this CD but have not yet ordered can easily do so. Please hit the
Refresh button in your browser to make sure you are looking at the
updated pages, and not the ones from earlier this week!


The Master Genealogist
======================
Some good news on the long-awaited version 5! The final couple of
reports are in beta testing, so it looks very likely that the final
production version will arrive in Australia sometime during the first
quarter of 2004.

Those who have purchased a current copy on CD-ROM will be able to
download the last couple of reports before then, and hence will have
the release version even sooner.

The only known differences between the version you can currently buy
through us and the final version are that the current version is missing:

    * Cascading pedigree chart
    * List of Names report
    * List of Citations report
    * Output to HTML

There is a "Check for an Upgrade" feature on the Help menu you can use
to download and install these remaining items as they become available.


Queensland Federation Index 1890-1914
=====================================
The Queensland Registry is very keen to have this CD available in
time for Christmas. I don't feel confident enough to state that it
will be available by Christmas, but everyone is doing their best.
