See the geographic distribution of any surname or given name in England, Scotland and Wales during the 19th Century.

Maps of name distributions can be zoomed and panned, colours and other attributes can be customised, labels can be added. Distributions can be displayed as 'actual numbers' or 'densities'. You can display the distributions by to County or Poor Law Union (roughly equivalent to Registration Dustricts)..

Once you have customised the map to look the way you want it to, you can print it at almost any scale, or copy it to the clipboard for pasting into a document or use in a web page.

Runs directly from the CD-ROM, no need to install. There is no coverage for Ireland. There is no information on individuals. The user licence permits private research only. Commercial usage such as lookup or printing services are not permitted without prior arrangement with Archer Software.
